Mary Adams

Mary Adams fl. 1652) and her visions may be mostly fictitious. She believed she was the Virgin Mary pregnant with the Christ, who had not come prior to her; the child was born and described as a monster, similar to accounts in America of Anne Hutchinson’s last child. Her story can be found in The Ranters Monster (London, 1652).
