Christopher Anderson, Liverpool, to Thomas Raffles, [Liverpool], undated (c. 1820s).
Rev.d Christopher Anderson, Edinburgh
Liverpool
Friday Morning
Dear Sir
I intend calling this forenoon but may not be so fortunate as to find you at home, and therefore write these few lines before going out. From the enclosed Note you will see how I have been and am now situate; and in such circumstances I hope it will not appear intrusive if I take the liberty to circulate a few of these circulars among some of our people. Before sending one to any of them I am desirous of acknowledging you in the matter, and, if not asking too much, of receiving your total sanction.
I am Dear Sir in the best bonds
Yours most faithfully
Christ.r Anderson
