Some Time ago I presumed upon your Clemency in writing to you relative to assistance in persute [sic] of Learning which no doubt you resceiv’d [sic]. but Circumstances has not concur’d I suppose so as that you could yet answer it I should be glad if conveniant to have an answer, when Affairs are so adjusted as that you can
