Robert Hall, Leicester, to William B. Gurney, Essex Street, London, 27 May 1813.
Dear Sir
I duly received your favor: you will permit me to suggest the inconvenience of preaching two charity sermons on days immediately preceding each other. I am engaged to preach for the Baptist Mission on the 24 instnt. Let me then be permitted to beg it as a favor that you will defer the other sermon till the ensuing week: friday if you think proper. [B?] Street is a place that entirely meets my approbation.
I am dear Sir
with much esteem
yours sincerely
R. Hall
