William Carey, Serampore, to Nathanial Wallich, Botanical Garden, Calcutta, 4 May 1824.
My Dear Wallich,
Pray appoint the meeting on the 18th Inst. Instead of the 11th. There are more than one precedents for such an alteration.
Thank you for the Seeds. I will write to Lieut. Davidson and thank him.
I saw a proof of your additions and emendations last night for the first time. I hope we shall soon get through now.
I am glad to hear of the recovery of Kummul and the good health of your whole family. We are all well, but sinking under the heat and drying winds.
I am, My dear Wallich
very affy yours
W. Carey
