25th June 1855
Athenaeum
Dear Lady Byron,
I am about to leave London for Suffolk, And was on the point of leaving a card in Gloucester Place when on my way I have fallen in with Mr Scharf who had informed me that your ladyship’s <–> ^health^ is greatly improved – And I hope that on my return in about a week or ten days I may find you sufficiently advanced, to form a decisive opinion on the character & merit of the new review – I feel great anxiety on this subject, more than perhaps is quite justifiable on the score of intrinsic importance – And I wish much to know your opinion of the new Rev: also.
As soon as I return I will take leave to make enquiries at your door. It will be between One week and two weeks hence.
I have the honour to be
&c &c &c
Your obedient Servt
H. C. Robinson
The Lady Noel Byron
