Olinthus Gregory, Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, to William Wilberforce, 21 February [c. 1813].
My dear Sir,
I drop a hasty line in reply to your favour this moment received, to say that unless something now unforeseen occur to prevent me, I will do myself the pleasure of dining with you on Monday next, and will take care to be with you by 4 o’clock, the time you specify. If the delay in the passage of the letters should have rendered it necessary for you to make any other engagement previously to the arrival of this, you will have the goodness to inform me, that I may postpone my visit. Should no change of time be necessary, I shall not expect to hear from you.
Believe me,
Dear Sir,
Yours with much esteem,
Olinthus Gregory
