Maria Grace Saffery, Salisbury, to Louisa Boys, [Saturday], 24 August 1833.
Salisbury Aug:st 24th 1833.
My dear Louisa,
I have just written my letter of assent to your Mother relative to your return hither The precise period must be left to my discretion your interference with a conscientious delay will negative the whole. I have many things to say to you, but if I use this post, I cannot say them now I shall gladly attend to your wishes about the private room &c &c. In the mean time, let me urge you to the most serious consideration of your responsibility as in the sight of God, for the right discharge of your personal and relative duties – while I write this, I lift up my heart and say, May the Father of mercies, bless Louisa Boys! will you not add your own Amen to the meaning of my prayers?
May this desire accomplished gladden the heart of every tender Relative and of every genuine friend among whom be pleased to number
Yours kindly & faithfully
M. G. S.
