Dear Brother
I believe it is now six weeks since I took the liberty to send you a packet for America one Letter for my Son and another to Mrs Dunn New York desiring you to send me a line by return of post saying when you should have an opportunity of sending them off – not having heard from ^you^ I am afraid you have not received them as it is frequently the case with us here when we pay the postage – Having this opportunity by Mr Yeandall in a parcel to his daughter which I have this instant hand[ed] off I have only time to request a line from you saying if you have received them and if they are sent away and when you expect to send again – which if you will do will much oblige dear Brother yous Affly
