Portsea June 29
Dear Sir
As secretary of Meeting House Alley Chapel Seminary School [I] shall feel obliged for any information you can afford respecting the Orphan School at Calcutta, having recently formed a Juvenile Auxy Missy Socy among the children. I think it desirable that something tangible should be presented them as a stimulus, having seen a communication in a recent “Herald” on the above subject I wish to know fully the nature objects & character of such school, and of its claims on British Children especially. An answer at your earliest convenience (having delayed writing you during the press of business arising out of the meetings at Kettering &c) will particularly oblige
Yours Respectfully
H. Colenutt
