William Carey, Serampore, to his son, Jonathan Carey, 26 May 1818.
My dear Jonathan
As I have had so many reported attacks of disease, &c which have much weakened my constitution I have come to the resolution of relinquishing preaching on Tuesday Evenings – I shall therefore return to day by day light. I send you a note from Felix. I am tolerably well.
Your very affecte Father
W Carey
