Charles Kirll, Birmingham, to unnamed correspondent, 30 April 1866.
My dear Sir
The morning I rec.d your letter I wrote a reply arguing that I have to be in London taking part in the annual [?] Society next week & that [?] will make it impossible for me to be with you. I fear from a letter rec.d this morning from Mr. Davis of [?] that my former letter had not reached you
Yours ever sincy
Charles Kirll
