John Rippon, Southwark, to S. J. Button, St. Paul’s Churchyard, 1 October 1813.
Rippon is asking about the price he had been previously receiving for his book of hymns; he is enquiring as to whether his price then of 1/6 was “a fair price”; he says it is similar in size to the edition by Purdy that Button was already publishing.
