Your kind communication is acceptable, in reference both to your information concerning Stepney, & your proposed bounty to The British & Foreign Bible Society—
My offer in the former instance will be cheerfully & gratefully followed up with payment indue season—
Our Committee will with much pleasure receive your & your son’s contributions—Had we anticipated the probability of your accepting the appointment, you would have been nominated for the Committee. Attend us as often as you can—Inclosed are Tickets for the Anniversary—a season looked forward to with anxious care—
May the God of peace & love protect his cause from every assailant—& may all friends to the Bible Society prove friends to themselves— I am,
