Abraham Beach

Rev. Abraham Beach, D. D.  (1740-1828), was the leading minister of the Protestant Episcopal Church in New York City (see New York Directory for 1796, p. 13).  A graduate of Yale (1757), he was ordained an Episcopal priest in England in 1767.  In 1784 Beach became assistant minister of Trinity Church in New York City, and continued as a minister with the diocese of New York until 1813.
