Philip Gibbs, Plymouth, to [John Rippon, London], 10 March 1795. [Letter of Recommendation on behalf of Walter Brewer, most likely sent to Rippon].
Whereas the Bearer, Mr Walter Brewer appears to have a Providential Call, at least for a Season, to remove from Plymouth, and being desirous in his Absence to enjoy the Privileges of Gods house – This is to certify whom it may concern, that he is an orderly and worthy Member of, and in full Communion with the Baptist Church in Plymouth – Sign’d March 10 1795 –
by me Philip Gibbs –
