I have to thank you much for your kindness in speaking to, and calling upon me (it is more yn some will do) so am I circumstanced next Thursday – by reason of publick engagements, as not to have it in my power ot do myself ye pleasure of meeting you at your house on that day agreeable to Your kind Invitation – If at any time hereafter it shall be in my powers I shall attend to with great pleasure – Accept my Love in our Dr Lord pray be so kind as to present the same to Dr Mrs Rippon and your Family – Grace be ever with You – so prays
