John Sutcliff, Olney, to John Rippon, London, 9 February 1797.
Dear Brother,
I have received information from Mr Davis of New York, of a parcel being sent to you last Augt for me: and of 2 more in Nov. by a Mr Browning, who came with a Captain Hervey, which parcells Mr B. proposed to leave with you for me. If any, or all of them are come to hand, do send them, I beg, to Mr Button directly, and he will defray the expence you have been put to. I much want these parcells. I am making up one for Mr Davis, but want to see them before I finish it.
Hope you, Mrs R. and family are well. Mrs S. joins me in love. Do not fail I beg to send my parcells immediately to Mr Button. With best wishes I am,
Yrs in our L. J. C.
John Sutcliff.
Olney, 9 Feb. 1797.
P.S. I send inclosed to Mr Button.
