Dear Sir,
Please favour me with some information as to your intent in the very fine engraving wh you have sent me.
I suppose you mean to depict the four classes of hearers, but I should like your own explanation.
As a picture ye work seems to me admirable, but it’s teaching is not all apparent to me: please put me into your groove.
