A. Murray, London, to John Rippon, London, 23 May 1796.
May 23d – 96
Dear Sir
I wrote to you about two Months ago for Six of your Musick books and having red no answer I have reason to Conclude that you have not got my letter. I therefore repeat the order and request that you will send them as soon as possible as the persons for whom they are have call’d frequently about^them^ and are quite uneasy. They are mostly your friends and think it no small favor to have a book of Sacred Musick particularly of your publication. As to myself I was happy in hearing that you had undertaken such a work and hope the Lord will make you more useful in his Vineyard and that he will own and bless your Ministry that he may give you many precious souls for your hire and Bless you and family with every temporal and Spiritual Mercy which is the desire of your unworthy but
Sincere Friend
A: Murray
