30 Russell Square
18 June 1855
Dear Mrs Reid –
Mrs Plumptree is delighted with the proposal, tho’ on the like grounds is nearly as incredulous as your self.
She has some unknown occupation – of course not unlike your’s – So that she is never at home at 4 – And goes out every morning about 2 – but tomorrow she will be at home at ½ p 2 were you passing that way And will let me know – I will remain at home till you come –
I have been interrupted And in danger of being too late so I must break off abruptly – If not tomorrow, say when you will come tho’ when ever you call at 3 Kepple [sic] Street with or without me Mrs Plumptree will be delighted to see you
