Joseph Hughes, Battersea, to Rev. R. Littley, 31 July 1833.
Dear Sir
I am willing, & desirous also, to employ the sabbath, time after time, in such manner as the friends among whom I travel, may deem most conducive to the best welfare of those around them; & therefore hope it will be in my power to comply with your request.
I am expected at Mansfield on the 16th of August, & at Eastwood or Grisby on the 19th – Again, I am expected at Chapel I think on the 23d, & at Bakewell, on the 26th – You can judge, from your knowledge of the County, which day it will be more convenient & economical for me to select; addressing a line to me, which will find me at Nottingham, on the 13th, or Newark the 15th, or Mansfield the 16th Be so good as to give directions for the route – with best wishes, & the hope of profitable interviews,
I am, Dear Sir,
Yours truly,
J Hughes
