No. 2—a list of 64 students of Bernard Foskett of Bristol, 1721-56, later discussed in The Transactions of the Welsh Baptist Historical Society, 1980. A translation of the article accompanies the list in the collection, by Hugh Matthews, ed., in 1981.
No. 4—a list of the Particular Baptist Churches in Wales, compiled by Joshua Thomas of Leominster in 1794.
No. 5—Minutes of the three Particular Baptist Associations in Wales, 1794 (appears to also be by Joshua Thomas).
No. 6—A note about an ordination at Cardington, Cotten End, Bedford, from 16 April 1794, for use inthe Register, most likely.
No. 7—letter about the Baptist interest in Newfoundland, for use in the Register.
Nos. 8-12—Accounts of ordinations and special events among Baptist churches in England, Wales, etc. for use in the Annual Register, all sent to Rippon; also invitations to Rippon to preach in various churches.
No. 13—A List of the Morning Lectures on Sunday at Carter Lane, 13 April through 19 October, 1823, in Rippon’s hand.
No. 14—John Kingdon, Frome, to John Rippon, London, 20 October 1796.
No. 15—Copy of a letter by Mrs. Martha Merry, to her husband, Rev. Robert Merry, 1 August 1798, the day of her death.
No. 16—Letter from the church at Upottery, 15 January 1804, to Rippon, about a financial matter.
No. 17—Letter concerning the recent resignation of the Rev. H. Perkins from his church by a member of the church, it appears, a Joseph Gutterridge, who is very upset over comments made and the treatment of the former pastor. Date is not legible, nor the place, but looks like Cocker[house?] near L[??] maybe Luton (that appears on the back address page).
No. 18—not clear where this letter is from, dated 1806 and addressed to Rippon.
No. 19—letter from church at Datchet, 24 September 1807, signed Thomas Masters.
No. 20—Letter from church at Partney, near Spilsby, Lincolnshire, 22 November 1807, signed by five men of the church. Pastor was Thomas Miller.
No. 21—from Albion Chapel, Moorgate, 10 January 1826.
No. 22—notes by Rippon on back of a notice about a charity sermon by John Disney, undated.
No. 23—note addressed to the King of England, not sure whose hand it is, undated.
No. 24—account of a Cambridge church led at one point by Hussey, then George Simson, with a new minister having arrived in 1759 (is this St. Andrew’s Street and Robinson?). If so, the date of the account is 1775.
No. 25—an account of a London congregation that began in 1678, led eventually by Thomas Goodwin.
No. 26—Letter by Joseph Osborne, 7 April 1748, to John Gill. This came from a section of papers noted on the back by Rippon as, “Papers relating to Rev John Gill, D.D. including fragments of Memoir.”

No. 45—MS (32 pages) of what looks like a Circular Letter of the Western Association c. 1757-58.
No. 46--a document composed by Isaac James of Bristol for Rippon, concerning a listing of all the Ministers, Pastors, Ruling Elders, and Assistants at Broadmead, Bristol, from 1640 to 1795. He writes in his N.B.—“If there are Errors in the above they are unknown to Isaac James. Bristol Aug.t 15. 1795.” He notes that in 1653 a “Timothy Cottle” was “the first Baptized Member continuing in the Church.”
