William Warburton

Rev. William Warburton (1698-1779), was Bishop of Gloucester and a prominent theological writer and friend of Philip Doddridge. He subscribed to Volume 1 of Doddridge's Family Expositor in 1739 and Volume 4 in 1753. He assisted Mercy Doddridge in the posthumous publication and eventual sale of her husband's writings.
