M. Anderson, London, to John Rippon, London, 21 April 1795.
Dear Sir,
I return you my humble thanks for your kind inquiry and must still request the favour that you have so obligingly offerd – should any place ofer to your mind that is not a Clergyman, I should have no objection – as you are acquainted with what will suit me – in regard to circumstances – and as to living I am very easy about that – I am at Present very badly situated for on Saturday next I am oblige[d] to give up my Lodgings – and at the same time know not how to dispose of my goods for fear I should not soon get a Country residence but will hope you will be more successful in your next application – my respectfull Compts to Mrs Rippon and the young Ladies –
Remain Your obligd & humble Servt
M Anderson
