My dear Sir,

   I yesterday brought again before the Committee of Management of the West African Company, the offer made by you, on behalf of the Baptist Missionary Society, for the purchase of the Company’s Possessions at Fernando Po, and I regret to add, that the offer has been again declined—It will be very agreeable to me, to have some conversation with you at your convenience, upon the Subject in question—I remain
