Mr John Pearson informs me that he has requested you to lend him for a short time some of the electrical apparatus of the College And that you wished to have for that purpose the recommendation of one of the Council – I have great pleasure in assuring that I believe he has may be safely trusted with such apparatus, that he is an earnest student of natural philosophy which he has pursued both in the Junior School and College And that it will give me pleasure to hear that you have granted him the accommodation he requests –
