John Feltham, London, to Mr. Ozias Humphrey, No. 13 Old Bond Street, London, 16 December 1793.
Mr. Feltham presents his Comp.ts to M.r Humphrey, and is sorry he could not wait on him to thank him for the favor of the Academy Tickets, which were highly acceptable
M.r Feltham has informed M.r Polwhele of M.r Humphrey’s kind offer of the Plate and Anecdotes to accompany it—and from whom M.r Humphrey will soon hear—There is a grand work just out, on the origin & progress of Heraldry in England by James Dallaway, a friend of mine, a very ingenious sensible man, who has long studied the subject—perhaps if M.r Humphrey was to peep into the volume, he may possibly find illustration or mention of his family which might be gratifying—
Honiton 16.th Dec.r 1793.
P.S. If the Plate &c is sent to M.r Feltham he will instantly convey it to M.r Polwhele and if any views of Honiton, or near it, M.r Humphrey can lend M.r F. to copy for himself, they shall carefully be returned—
