Dear Madam

     We have been long looking for an opportunity of fixing a time for our scheme from ^to^ Richmond.1 – We are now at your service, and wish you to appoint Friday or Monday next if convenient to your house – Concerng the our conveyance, we are inclined to the think [sic] the watered road will be most desirable. If you approve of this, – your brother wd be most competent to provide a proper vessel, in wch you wd embark on yr side London Bridge, and we would give you the meeting at the foot of Battersea Bridge on the Chelsea side, at any early hour you shall appoint. – This scheme is sent for your approbation or improvement. In the mean time I am for self &c, wth best respects to all your family Dear Madam  Your sincere & faithful friend
